28 Years of Impact
The Chicago Academy for the Arts (CAA) has once again showcased the power of students coming together to create a world free of pediatric AIDS. This year’s 28th Annual AIDS Benefit was an amazing example of how CAA students are using their talents to raise awareness and funds for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF).
A Tradition of Making a Difference
Every dollar raised through the AIDS Benefit helps support EGPAF’s work in providing life-saving treatment, research, and advocacy for children living with HIV. This long-standing partnership between CAA and EGPAF has helped spread awareness about pediatric HIV and empowered young people to take action. By working together, we are helping to ensure that no child has to grow up with HIV.
A Show of Talent and Heart
The AIDS Benefit at CAA is more than just a performance—it’s a labor of love. Every year, students from each department showcase their talent, all under the direction and curation of student leadership. The director and assistant director are both students, making this benefit a true testament to student power and creativity.
But it’s not just about the arts—it’s about using their voices, skills, and hard work to help others. The funds raised go directly to supporting mothers and children affected by HIV and AIDS, giving them access to life-saving treatments and care.
