Hi everyone! Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page.

This year is my final UCLA Dance Marathon where we will come together to stand for 10 hours in support of children and families affected by HIV and AIDS. One of the most powerful things about this cause is how close we actually are to an AIDS free generation. With all that we have in terms of prevention and treatment today, pediatric HIV is largely preventable. The science is there. The solutions are there. The biggest barrier is simply access to care.

These medications are relatively inexpensive. It costs about $12 to provide care for a child for a whole month or $70 to prevent vertical transmission during pregnancy. Everything that we do leading up to March 7th (DM day!) will have a tangible impact, and it is something I am so proud to be a part of. At a time when global health efforts are facing a lot of uncertainty, continuing to support this work feels more important than ever.

All funds raised through our Dance Marathon support organizations fighting HIV/AIDS locally and globally, including the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the UCLA AIDS Institute, and the Laurel Foundation. These organizations help expand prevention, treatment, research, and support for families affected by HIV.

Every single donation, big or small, directly helps fight stigma, provide medication, and move us closer to an AIDS free world.
