The organization was founded by Elizabeth Glaser after she and her two children contracted HIV through a blood transfusion. Determined to ensure that no other family would face the same challenges, Elizabeth became one of the most powerful advocates for children affected by HIV.
Today, EGPAF works in countries around the world to prevent HIV transmission to babies, expand access to treatment, and strengthen health systems so families can thrive.
Together with partners and supporters, EGPAF is working toward Generation Zero — the first generation free from pediatric HIV.
