What is Dance Marathon?
Dance Marathon at Baldwin Wallace is a fun, high-energy charity event where students commit to dancing for several hours. Before the event, dancers raise money from sponsors (friends, family, or local supporters) to support The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
During the marathon, students dance, play games, join challenges, and take part in activities from 3 PM till midnight, all while a live DJ keeps the energy high. At the end, all the money raised goes to help children living with HIV. Every dance move at BW makes a difference!
Why Should I Dance?
Every day, approximately 330 children are newly infected with HIV because their families lack access to the health services they need to prevent transmission.
That’s something we can help change. By dancing, you’re doing more than just having a good time—you’re literally helping to save lives. How cool is that?
