This year is my 3rd year in PAC (the Pediatric AIDS Coalition). I joined as a general member my sophomore year after seeing how much of an impact PAC makes and how much everyone involved truly cares about the cause. My second year, I took more of a leadership role as a co-director of the publicity committee. Through this position, I was able to have even more of an impact, inspiring me to get more involved my senior year by becoming the Executive Director of Marketing of PAC. 

I’m excited to yet again be taking part in this year’s Dance Marathon at UCLA, and having even a larger role in making it the best one yet. We will take a stand against pediatric AIDS by staying on our feet and dancing the night away for 13 hours. More importantly, we help reduce the stigma surrounding HIV, and support HIV-affected children and families worldwide by donating our proceeds to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the UCLA AIDS Institute, the Laurel Foundation, and the Pediatric AIDS Coalition at UCLA's direct services.

Any donation amount can make a HUGE difference,  and I will greatly appreciate your support. As it is my final year, I am hoping to set a personal best in my fundraising total, and I will not be able to without your help, so thank you so much  :)

World AIDS Day 2024

Sunday 1st Dec
Today, 12/1/24, I am reflecting even more on PAC’s cause, as today is World AIDS Day. I have learned so much about our cause since joining PAC my sophomore year of college, but I continue to learn more each day. We have made so much progress in the World of HIV since the beginning of the epidemic in the 1980’s, but there is no denying that there is still work to be done. It is empowering to be involved in an organization such as PAC, which is helping to contribute to the work that needs to be done to fight for an AIDS free generation and fight the stigma associated with an HIV diagnosis. Seeing the commitment of those dedicated to this cause is what inspires me to do more each year. 


PAC annually attends the LA AIDS Walk, and this year the slogan was “We’re Not Going Back.” PAC, as well as I, will not be going back, we will be pushing forwards.
