What PAC Means to Me!! 💃🕺
Wednesday 7th Feb On my tour of UCLA a little less than a year before I packed up my Parisian life and destined myself for sunny Los Angeles, my eye caught a group of students wearing bright highlighter yellow t-shirts. They were listening to music, handing out flyers, and speaking with passing by students with enthusiasm I could detect from 40 yards away. I zeroed in onto their table to learn that they were a student organization on campus called the Pediatric Aids Coalition. Watching them made me smile. Not only were they advocating for such an important cause, but they were doing it with an energy, devotion, and passion that was contagious and heartwarming. I remember thinking to myself, if by chance I end up at UCLA, I'm joining PAC. Now, as a member of PAC, I could not be happier to spread word of our amazing cause.Thank you to my Sponsors

Hi Sophia, I'm excited you chose PAC to share your time and talent in helping fight pediatric aids. As a college student in 1989-91, I wrote several articles on HIV; and because contracting the virus through a blood transfusion was so new, that was my very first news article! I continued to write stories on HIV from different angles and even got tested myself so I could write about the experience I had so others could learn more about the virus. We can talk someday about your experience-I'd love to hear all about it! Love, Aunt Kathleen
