I'm fundraising for an AIDS-free generation!

Hello everyone, welcome to my fundraising page!

This is my third and final year on PAC, and I’m honored to now serve as the Executive Director of Marketing. PAC has been one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience, and I’m so excited to help make this year’s Dance Marathon our best one yet.

If you’re unfamiliar with what we do, PAC is a student-led organization working toward an AIDS-free generation. We focus on advocacy to combat HIV/AIDS stigma and fundraising to support our three incredible beneficiaries: the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (global impact), the Laurel Foundation (local impact), and the UCLA AIDS Institute (research impact). The funds we raise help provide treatment, testing, support programs, and research that directly support families affected by HIV/AIDS both in Los Angeles and around the world.

Did you know that it costs just $70 to provide treatment that prevents mother-to-child HIV transmission? Despite this, 168 babies are still born with HIV every day due to limited resources and persistent stigma. We already have the medical tools to prevent transmission, but many individuals still lack access to care. That’s why fundraising efforts like Dance Marathon matter so deeply.

This challenge has become even more urgent as recent federal funding cuts to USAID programs, including PEPFAR, threaten access to lifesaving treatment worldwide. Creating an AIDS-free generation is not a distant dream. It is a tangible goal, and every contribution helps move us closer.

On March 7th, I’ll be dancing for 10 hours alongside my fellow PAC members to take a literal stand against HIV/AIDS.
