Remember when I texted and emailed you all last year? Well I am back again!!!!! Last year I raised a total of $550, and this year I hope to do more, WITH YOUR HELP!

This is my second and last Dance Marathon. I joined this organization last year to get away from engineering and it really opened up my eyes to the difference you can make outside of engineering!! This club has really fulfilled me with so much joy and I can't wait to raise more money. 

Did you know that just $70 will help pay for ONE YEAR of care and treatment for a pregnant woman with HIV/AIDS? Did you know that 168 children are born with HIV every day? and that with treatment the transmission rate from mother to child goes from 30% to LESS THAN 1%!!!!

It's really important now more than ever with budget cuts causing breaks in PEPFAR (important for treatment)

.We'll take a stand against pediatric AIDS by staying on our feet and dancing the night away. More importantly, we help reduce the stigma surrounding HIV, and support HIV-affected children and families worldwide by donating our proceeds to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the UCLA AIDS Institute, the Laurel Foundation, and the Pediatric AIDS Coalition at UCLA's direct services.
