I'm fundraising for an AIDS-free generation!
Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page!
I’m excited to be taking part in this year’s Dance Marathon at UCLA. We'll take a stand against pediatric AIDS by staying on our feet and dancing the night away. More importantly, we help reduce the stigma surrounding HIV, and support HIV-affected children and families worldwide by donating our proceeds to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the UCLA AIDS Institute, the Laurel Foundation, and the Pediatric AIDS Coalition at UCLA's direct services.

🌟HOW IT HAS MADE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON MY LIFE 🌟
Thursday 15th Jan PAC has improved every aspect of my life. I initially joined the club because I was drawn to how energetic and enthusiastic they were about the cause. Little did I know, it would become my home and place of growth over the last 3 years. I have made the most incredible friends, learned how to make hard decisions when they matter the most, and continue to grow as a leader who can adapt to last minute changes in plans. To be loved in this organization for exactly who I am - all of my loud cackles, failed jokes, and emotional sentiments - has increased my confidence and pride in who I am. I have become a more loving and kind friend to everyone around me thanks to the great role models I met when I first joined the club as a freshman. I can talk about this club’s impact on me as a person forever, so if you want to hear more feel free to reach out to me directly :). Share
🎤MY POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION 🎸
Thursday 15th Jan This year I am Executive Director of Production. In my position, I overlook three committees all focussed on creating the most positive and exciting environment during Dance Marathon and the entire year. The first committee is called Entertainment. This committee works directly with our UCLA student performers - helping them construct their setlists, building their techriders, and ensuring they are ready to perform their set come the day of Dance Marathon. The second committee is Morale. Morale is in charge of emceeing the event of Dance Marathon. They work to choreograph a dance called The Morale Dance that everyone at the event learns and performs at the top of every hour to celebrate our progress. The last committee I am in charge of is called Internal. This committee is responsible for creating a welcoming and friendly environment within our PAC community through organizing social hangouts every week. Share
🤗WHY YOUR DONATION MATTERS 🫂
Thursday 15th JanPAC’s positive impact is more important now than ever before!! With massive budget cuts to HIV/AIDS resources in the last year (domestically and internationally), PAC supports three MAJOR organizations that work to help families and children that have been impacted by this autoimmune disease. Our three beneficiaries are the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, UCLA AIDS Institute, and the Laurel Foundation.100% of the money we raise all year long goes to one of these three organizations. Even if it is as little as $10, your donation goes a long way. Need more proof?
$5 - HIV counseling and testing for one pregnant woman
$12 - one month of care and treatment for one child living with HIV
$70 - HIV treatment for a pregnant woman for one year
$100 - one year of supplies for one peer education. This helps them reach and support adolescents on HIV treatment.
$144 - a whole year of care and treatment for a child living with HIV
$200 - one week of clinical training for a community health worker
