This is a very special year for me, since it's not only my first year in PAC, but also my very first Dance Marathon. Since the time I joined, this organization has changed how I think about community, advocacy, and what it is to show up for people who need it most. The mission of helping to create an AIDS-free generation now feels possible.

One thing that really opened my eyes is learning how preventable parent-to-child transmission of HIV actually is. Around the world, babies continue to be born with HIV simply because the right medical care, support, or resources aren't available to families. It doesn't take much to change that. Small efforts really make a life-changing difference. And knowing that makes this cause feel personal, and makes me want to be part of the solution.

On March 7th, the UCLA community will come together for 12 unforgettable hours to take a stand against pediatric AIDS. We'll be staying on our feet, dancing through the night, and raising awareness for children and families whose lives are shaped by HIV. It's more than an event; it's a statement that we care, and we're not backing down from this fight.

Your donation, regardless of size, directly benefits children and families affected by HIV through the provision of much-needed resources, access to treatment, and community programs. Funds raised will go toward organizations undertaking incredible, life-changing work, such as:

- Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (global impact)

- UCLA AIDS Institute (research impact)

- The Laurel Foundation (local impact for children and families)

Every dollar gets us closer to a future where no child has to grow up fighting a preventable disease.
